Avenelle is made by one person, and every message is read by that person. Write to [email protected] and you'll hear back, usually within a day or two.

How are the letters written?

Each letter is written for you, using what you've written and the passage that opened your day, with the help of AI. No two letters are the same. They're offered for reflection, not prediction.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple: open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Avenelle. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you reinstalled the app and Premium isn't showing, use Restore purchases in the app's Settings.

Who can see a passage I send to someone?

Anyone who has the link, which is what makes it shareable by text. The address is long and unguessable, and it shows only that one passage, never your account or history. When they first open it, it's marked as seen so you know it arrived, and if they write a reply you'll see it in the app.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. It's immediate and permanent: letters, entries, and threads are all erased. If you've lost access to the app, email us and we'll delete it for you.

My daily reminder isn't arriving

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Avenelle is allowed, then check the reminder time in the app's Settings. Focus modes and scheduled summaries can also hold notifications back.
